The Olympia Farmers Market will celebrate its 43rd year in operation on April 5, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 700 Capitol Way North in Olympia.
Although the market runs year-round, it only operates on weekends during the off-season. Starting on April 5, the market will operate Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every week until November.
The Olympia Farmers Market’s website states that its mission is “to promote and encourage the development of local, small-scale agriculture and ensure a dynamic market balance for small, local growers and others to make available their products to residents of this community.”
Over the course of a season, which lasts 152 days, the market serves approximately 400,000 visitors and features more than 80 different local vendors.
