Oberto is joining forces with the Seattle Seahawks’ promotional machine, partnering with the NFL team in a search for the loudest 12th man.
The Seahawks and the Kent-based meat snacks company will host a competition on Friday inviting fans to come to Oberto’s booth at Westlake Center. There, fans will have the opportunity to yell into a microphone and have their decibel levels measured.
The 12 fans who register the highest decibel readings will win tickets to the Oct. 29 Seahawks game against the Houston Texans, where they will get to sit in a private suite at CenturyLink Field. They will be joined by Oberto CEO Tom Hernquist, who will help them “collectively attempt to create the loudest suite ever in one of the loudest stadiums in all of sports.”
The contest is the latest in creative marketing from Oberto, which also recently — tongue firmly in cheek — debuted the jerky tie with Father’s Day right around the corner.
