National home building company Lennar has announced a new community in northeast Tacoma.
The development, dubbed Harbor View Heights, is set to begin selling later this month, with a grand opening slated for summer 2017.
Bill Salvesen, vice president of sales and marketing for Lennar Seattle, described the South Sound location as “ideal, set in an upscale and affluent area of Pierce County, a perfect place for families to grow.”
The community will feature two-story homes ranging in size from approximately 2,299 to 3,264 square feet of space.
Miami-based Lennar is the nation’s third-largest home builder. The company entered the Pierce County home market in December 2011 after acquiring Puyallup’s Premier Communities. In 2012, it was chosen as one of Newland Communities’ five home building partners for the planned Tehaleh development. The Harbor View announcement continues Lennar’s assertive 2017 in Western Washington; the company also announced a new community in Snohomish County in February.
