Gayle Weston is the newest member of Public Hospital District No. 1, replacing the recently retired Nancy Trucksess.
Weston, manager of Shelton’s Key Bank, was appointed by remaining Board members Scott Hilburn and Don Wilson to fill the position after Trucksess’ departure. Trucksess leaves the board after serving for nearly 15 years.
“Nancy has been a very positive advocate for the patient and our community, often sharing key insights gained from her experience owning and managing a primary care clinic with her late husband Dr. Mark Trucksess,” said Eric Moll, CEO of Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics, a part of Public Hospital District No. 1. “We are fortunate to have had her leadership for so many years during a period of great transformation for both MGH&FC and our industry. Her unwavering commitment to advancing our mission leaves a significant legacy of optimism and excellence.”
“Gayle has been a longtime leader in the business community in Mason County, serving as the branch manager for Key Bank,” added Moll. “Additionally, Gayle has been very supportive of MGH&FC by serving on the MGH Foundation Board and participating in many of our community events. I am confident Gayle will be a very productive and insightful commissioner with a keen understanding of our community.”
