Tukwila-based credit union BECU, which had its previous Kent location displaced when that community’s TOP Food and Drug closed last year, has announced that its new, permanent Kent Neighborhood Financial Center will open on Monday, June 2.

The new location will be at the south end of Kent Station at 321 Ramsay Way. Currently, the bank has a temporary home on the other side of the shopping complex.

“While the temporary location has allowed us to continue to serve members in the area, we are really excited about the experience we will be able to deliver to our current and future members in our new permanent location, said Adrienne Sharples, manager of the Kent BECU, in a release.

The new location, which will have some 3,000 square feet of space, will have six consultant desks, a pair of 24-hour ATMs and two banking kiosks.
