Enumclaw’s new hospital, which will be the “greenest” hospital in the state when it opens in the spring of 2011, reaches a major construction milestone today. A topping out ceremony celebrated placement of the final steel beam as the state-of-the-art, $65 million facility continues its rise toward completion.
The 90,000-square-foot facility will double the size of the existing hospital.
The new Enumclaw Regional will offer the same array of services the hospital now provides, including 24/7 emergency services, a birth center, in- and outpatient surgery, and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services.
In the new hospital, physicians and staff will provide care much more efficiently in spaces especially designed for their specialties, according to a release from Franciscan Health System.
