The International Council of Shopping Centers has released a new infographic, detailing statistical information on the state of the industry across the United States.

The “Industry Snapshot” graphic, which can be found at, is mobile-friendly and will be updated weekly to reflect changes in sales numbers, vacancy rates and average net operating income all over the country.

The ICSC, which bills itself as “the premier global trade association of the shopping center industry,” is touting the graphic as a digital tool for commercial real estate professionals and shopping center businesspeople alike. This week's iteration — pictured below — shows a year-over-year change of 1.6 percent in U.S. chain store sales for the week ending June 22, as well as a $4.24 per square foot net operating income for first quarter of 2013.
