Northwest Hardwoods Inc. has named Frederic Jung as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will be responsible for all finance, IT and legal functions at the Tacoma-based lumber company.
Jung brings nearly 30 years of experience in both public and private business in a variety of sectors. Prior to joining NWH, he was CFO at Arizona Chemical for nearly 8 years until its recent sale to Kraton Performance Polymers. Before that, he served in a number positions — most recently corporate controller — at chemical firm Nalco Company.
“Frederic's demonstrated record of leadership and success will be a huge benefit to NWH as we continue to grow the company both domestically and abroad,” said T.J. Rosengarth, president and CEO of NWH.
“As we build on NWH's reputation as the premier provider of high quality hardwood lumber products, Frederic's breadth of experience across a variety of process-oriented industries is a wonderful asset and complement to our entire team.”
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science degree in finance from ESLSCA in Paris.
