The National Military Spouse Network has announced its inaugural Roadshow, including an event in Tacoma designed to educate military spouses on employment, small business and transitioning from military to civilian life.
The 2017 NMSN Roadshow will stop in Tacoma on Friday and Saturday, April 21-22, in an event sponsored in part by the University of Washington Tacoma.
“Even the strongest and most self-sufficient among us needs the time and space to disconnect and focus on ourselves,” said Sue Hoppin, founder and president of NMSN. “These events provide an opportunity to network with other military spouses building businesses and careers, experts in the field, representatives from helping organizations in their community and others.
“We curate these events specifically to help military spouses thrive in the military lifestyle while pursuing their own goals and ambitions. Our goal is for everyone to leave feeling energized and empowered.”
Registration for the event can be found at the National Military Spouse Network website.
