Master Builders Association of Pierce County and the Remodelors Council have announced their 12th annual Remodeling Excellence Awards. 
The remodelers were judged by outside home building associations on the quality, use of appropriate materials, and designs, creativity and workmanship of their projects. All of the entries this year far exceeded the expectations of the judges and the winners were chosen after many hours of review. 

The honorees and their categories were:

H. York Enterprises’s Duke York and Randy May were honored with the Residential Interior Design and Architecture award and honorable mentions for Residential Kitchen more than $125,000 and Residential Specialty construction.

Neu Construction’s Gordon Neu was honored for  Residential Specialty construction.
MRF Construction’s Mike Fast and Carolin Fast were honored with Historic Renovation, Residential Bath more than $75,000 and Residential Kitchen more than $125,000 awards.

Reier Construction’s Tom Reier was honored in the Residential Bath $25,000 to $75,000 category and with an honorable mention for Residential Kitchen more than $30,000  to $60,000 program.

Reding Construction’s Tim Reding was honored with the Residential Addition of more than $150,000 award.

George Eide and Troy Rideb took home awards for  Residential Addition of less than $75,000, three Residential Kitchen remodeling awards and two whole-house remodels.

Shattuck & Associates’ Steve Shattuck was honored for his Whole House remodel of more than $500,000.
