The City of Lacey is hosting its 5th Annual S.T.E.M. Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 5, at Huntamer Park.
All STEM-related businesses, clubs, schools, and other organizations (those involved with science, technology, engineering, and math) are invited to participate in the event.
The fair will include hands-on STEM activities and presentations for youth and adults, and will allow businesses and other organizations to share their missions, engage the community, and increase education and awareness of environmental issues.
Lacey’s S.T.E.M. Fair earned a Program Excellence Spotlight Award for Innovating Programming from the Washington Recreation and Parks Association in 2015. This year’s fair is presented by the city, North Thurston Public Schools, UW Medicine, South Sound Solar, Molina Health Care, and Acme Fuel.
