Jennifer Joly, JD, is one of three incumbent members to be approved for new three-year terms on the Group Health Cooperative board of trustees.
Joly, a former chair of the Public Disclosure Commission, leads Pierce County Government Relations for Group Health. She has held a variety of executive-level legal and policy positions, including general counsel and legislative director to former Gov. Gary Locke.
She has also served as counsel to the Washington State House of Representatives.
Joly joins Susan Byington and Dorothy A. Ruzicki in receiving new terms on the board.
“Group Health is fortunate to have the experience and commitment of these three professionals, each of whom has demonstrated long-standing support for our organization,” said board chair Porsche Everson. “The Group Health Board of Trustees has provided critical support and oversight for our organization during a transitional period with many challenges. In the three years ahead, the board will continue to work in partnership with Group Health leadership to maintain our current course of financial discipline and our mission of one goal of better health for all current and future members.”
