Fashion retailer H&M is opening its new location at the South Hill Mall next week.

The Stockholm, Sweden-headquartered firm — whose name is short for Hennes and Mauritz, Inc. — adds the 19,000-square-foot Pierce County location to its roster of 10 Washington stores when it opens on Thursday, July 27. There are two other H&M locations in the South Sound: one each at Tacoma Mall and The Outlet Collection in Auburn.

The addition was first announced earlier this year; the store is set to open well ahead of its target date of fall 2017.

H&M, the highest ranked apparel retailer on Forbes’ Best Employers List in 2017, will add approximately 20 employees to the store, according to a release from the company.

The new location will offer the retailer’s familiar “store within a store” sections for accessories and collections for men and women, as well as the H&M Kids collection for newborns to 14-year-olds. It will join Target, Macy’s, JC Penney, Sears and Regal Cinemas as anchor stores at South Hill Mall.
