The South Sound’s fastest-growing technology company – Infoblox – has added more than 30 new employees just since January 2017.

And lead corporate recruiter Zachary Neiman says his team is looking for another 20+ to join the downtown Tacoma location before the end of this year.

“Tacoma is becoming a hiring hub for the entire Infoblox company … and will likely become the largest location” of the Silicon Valley-based firm, Neiman adds.

Recently, a dozen California-based employees traveled north to the South Sound to see the newest addition to the Infoblox world, and five of them expressed a desire to relocate from the high-priced, jam-packed Santa Clara marketplace.

“We have already out-grown the whole sixth floor of this building and will soon take over parts or all of the fourth and fifth floors,” reported Norma Lane, the firm’s executive vice president for people & places at Infoblox corporate.

She happened to be in the Tacoma office this week, when a group of investors from EDB Tacoma-Pierce County was touring the space. Lane says the company discovered the “gem that is Tacoma” when it acquired the former local operation, IID, in 2016.

It now holds a prominent place in future expansion for the firm that delivers Actionable Network Intelligence to to business, government and service provider customers around the world.
