The state Higher Education Coordinating Board has given its approval to Centralia College's efforts to offer a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Degree.
The inaugural four-year degree now has full endorsement from the HEC Board and the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
The bachelor's program is expected to begin this fall and will be offered in a hybrid format, which means that classes meet one or two days each week and then students interact online with other students and faculty in the program.
The classes will meet evenings on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, depending on whether the student is enrolled in the two- or three-year track.
