Trade deficit narrows in June

Anchor Bank - Money when you need it.June exports of $185 billion and imports of $227.9 billion resulted in a goods and services deficit of $42.9 billion, down from a revised $48 billion in May, according to the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.

June exports were $1.7 billion more than May exports of $183.3 billion. June imports were $3.5 billion less than May imports of $231.4 billion. [Read more]

The Board of Directors of Weyerhaeuser Co. has declared a dividend of 15 cents per share on the common stock of the corporation payable Sept. 14 to shareholders of record at the close of business Aug. 30. [Read more]
