Community Health Care of Pierce County will be relocating its administrative headquarters to the historic Cornerstone building in downtown Tacoma.
A release from Berschauer Group confirmed the move. Community Health will move into an 18,694-square-foot space on the building’s first floor.
Community Health Care’s addition brings the 99,279-square-foot Cornerstone Building to 100 percent occupancy. Franciscan Health Systems and Charles Schwab occupy the remainder of the building.
Berschauer Group purchased the building from Regence Blue Shield in February.
“The addition of Community Health Care was a great selection to complete our vision for the Cornerstone Building,” said Pat Berschauer of Berschauer Group. “The Cornerstone Building has been around for 125 years and is a proven asset to the Tacoma downtown area.”
Neil Walter Company is the leasing agent and property manager for the building.
