Lisa Miles is the interim CEO of Lucky Eagle Casino, named to the post by the Chehalis Tribe after the departure of former CEO John Setterstrom.
The tribe has started an active search for a permanent replacement for Setterstrom, who joined the casino in 1995. A reason was not given for Setterstrom’s departure.
“John has made significant and lasting contributions to our success,” said statement David Burnett, business committee secretary for the Confederated Tribes Of The Chehalis Reservation, in a release. “He has been with Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel since our opening in 1995 and was dedicated to serving the Chehalis Tribe and developing the Lucky Eagle Casino And Hotel from our infancy.”
In his place steps Miles, formerly the CFO of Lucky Eagle. She joined the company in 2002 and has extensive experience in the gaming industry and in finance. She worked for professional advisory firm Ernst & Young in Chicago before entering the gaming arena with Bally Entertainment Corp. She has also served as top financial executive for Tulalip Casino and a Six Flags park in California.
In 2015, Miles was named Financial Executive of the Year by Business Examiner in the medium-to-large private sector category.
