Business Examiner honored its 2012 class of 40 Under Forty award recipients during a nautical-themed celebration last night at Foss Waterway Seaport.

“It was a spectacular night, only topped by the impressive 2012 40 Under Forty class,” said Andrew Barkis of Hometown Property Management, who co-emceed the awards presentation with Business Examiner's Emily Cook.

About 360 South Sound professionals turned out for the event, which was presented by Harborstone Credit Union. Click here to view more photos from the event and here to see the complete list of honorees.

Each class of 40 Under Forty represents the diversity and excellence of the South Sound and includes those who have made great accomplishments and significant contributions to their businesses, industries and communities.

An alumni panel reviews the candidates to provide direction in the selection of the 40. Click here to make a nomination for the 2013 class of 40 Under Forty.
