October 1 will bring a new name and restructured ownership to a prominent Olympia commercial construction business.
Berschauer Phillips Construction, formed in 1985, will become Forma Construction and headed by newly named company president Jim Phillips, son of founder James A. Phillips. His brother Drew will be director of business development and reconstruction services. Jace Munson, a longtime company executive and principal, will be chief operating officer.
“While we represent the next generation of innovation leaders in our industry, at Forma Construction we’ll continue to build on the long-held traditions of service quality and integrity,” said Jim Phillips.
“Coming out of the recession, we’re fortunate to have a strong backlog of projects into the foreseeable future,” added Munson.
Forma has more than 150 employees and annual sales are expected to top $125 million this year.
