Adolfson & Peterson Construction, the Minneapolis-based parent of Tacoma's AP|Rushforth Construction, has announced the appointment of new regional leadership for its Pacific Northwest operations.
John Platon, the company's new vice president for the Pacific Northwest region, started on June 10 and will be based out of AP|Rushforth's Tacoma office. Platon (pictured) brings with him more than 30 years of construction management experience in both operational and strategic sides of the industry, including background in estimating, business development, sales and large-scale business completion.
A veteran of various construction firms on the West Coast, Platon most recently served for 13 years as senior vice president and partner with Anaheim, Calif.-based KHS&S Contractors.
In a pair of related personnel moves, Kim Nakamura, who had served as president of Rushforth since 2007, has been appointed to the new A&P position of vice president of development services and preconstruction, and Jerry Eubanks has been promoted to vice president of operations.
