With Veteran's Day approaching, Allstate Insurance Company has announced a continued push to hire veterans or current service members and spouses. 

Allstate offers a National Veteran's Program that teaches transitioning job seekers how to build résumés and interview. Participants that complete Allstate's education course qualify upon passing the licensing exam to earn a $500 completion bonus. In addition, agents will receive funds to reimburse staff for insurance licensing test and application fees.

On a local level, the company will be holding a South Sound career fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center.
