On April 11, Emergency Food Network held their yearly Recognition Breakfast at the STAR Center in Lakewood. Silver Spoon Awards were presented to individuals, organizations, and businesses doing their part to fight hunger in Pierce County.

Emergency Food Network’s mission is “to provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse, and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry.” The businesses that were honored at the breakfast have displayed their commitment to that mission.
