The Better Business Bureau recently announced the finalists for its 2018 Torch Awards for Ethics, which honor businesses and charities all across the Northwest, Hawaii, and Alaska that “demonstrate excellence in the marketplace.”

This year, five businesses and three charities from the South Sound are among the awards finalists:

Business Finalists:

Crawford Family Auctions LLC – Olympia

Patriot Roofing – Gig Harbor

Pioneer Services a Division of MidCountry Bank – DuPont

Weir’s Appliance – Tacoma

Charity finalists:

Climate Solutions – Olympia

Thurston County Food Bank – Olympia

Homes First – Lacey
