Health is at the forefront of most of our minds as cold and flu season approaches in tandem with COVID-19.
Nate and Lindsey Sylling, of the Port Orchard-based Sylling’s Elderberry, offer up a natural product with an immune-boosting ingredient to keep their community well. That ingredient? Elderberries, which they say are an excellent way to support your immune system. For the last two years, the Syllings have specialized in elderberry syrups, a health supplement that had worked wonders for their family that they eventually decided they wanted to share with their community.
Sylling’s Elderberry is one of the finalists selected for Kitsap Bank’s 2020 edg3 FUND Awards. For the Syllings, a win would cover the cost of the production facility they’re building.
“Currently funded by our own personal savings, we are building an 1,800 square foot production facility,” the Syllings said. “Winning the edg3 FUND would cover almost the entire cost of the build and new equipment.”
Vote between Oct. 26 and Nov. 6 here for your favorite of the eight edg3 FUND finalists. The business with the most votes will receive the $5,000 Public Favorite Award.
