The City of Tacoma is currently accepting applications from organizations for funding to produce publicly accessible art projects within Tacoma city limits in 2020.

Through Nov. 4th, applicants can apply for a flat amount of either $3,000 or $6,000 for their project. Eligibility extends to private non-profit agencies with a 501(c) designation, organized groups of community volunteers, educational institutions or for-profit businesses wishing to produce not-for-profit arts functions, and federally recognized tribes or Native non-profits. Applicants are required to have offices within Tacoma or, if they have no offices, a majority of their activities must take place within Tacoma city limits. Applicants are invited to attend a free workshop that will address questions about the application and funding process. The workshop is scheduled for 5:30–7 p.m. on Oct. 3 in the Tacoma Municipal Building (747 Market St., 2nd floor, Room 243).
