Earlier this week, the City of Chehalis became a full partner in the state’s Business Licensing Service (BLS), the Department of Revenue announced. As a result, businesses in the Lewis County city now have access to the convenient, streamlined service.

BLS allows Washington businesses to apply for and renew approximately 400 different local licenses all in one place. The service is one of just a few nationwide that lets businesses register with a state and a city at the same time.

The City of Centralia already joined BLS, and another Lewis County city — Napavine — will join next year, according to a statement released by the Department of Revenue.
