Child Care Aware of Washington (CCA of WA) has launched a free online service called Washington Child Care Business Edge (Edge) to help child care providers manage the business portion of their operations.

Operated by CCA of WA and supported by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), Edge is an online portal that gives child care providers access to resources, tips, form templates, training support, discounts for supplies, and other tools to help them with business and administrative tasks. Edge is available at no cost to child care providers who participate in Early Achievers, a state program that focuses on improving child care in Washington.

“We are thrilled to launch Edge and help providers spend less time with administrative burdens, like budgeting and ordering supplies and the like, and more time teaching and caring for our state’s youngest children and their families,” CEO of CCA of WA Robin Lester said in a statement.

CCA of WA is a Tacoma-headquartered nonprofit that connects families with high-quality, licensed child care and lends support to local child care providers.
