Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice announced it has changed its name to Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores. The rebranding effort will help the company to more effectively communicate its goal of selling quality ingredients and supplies in a simple warehouse format, according to a statement released by Smart Foodservice.
“The updated name better reflects our mission and provides a much clearer message to current and future customers about the products and services we offer,” said Derek Jones, President of Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores. “This new name is a much more accurate reflection of who we are and what we do.”
Of the company’s 63 stores throughout the Northwest, five are located in the South Sound region, including two in Tacoma and one in Olympia. Smart Foodservice is headquartered near Portland and is a subsidiary of Smart & Final Stores, Inc.
