It’s crunch time for high school seniors seeking scholarships for post-secondary school, and the BECU Foundation wants students currently enrolled in accredited two-year, four-year, or technical college or university that they have another option.
The foundation is awarding $2,500 scholarships to full-time high school seniors and undergraduates who “play an active role in giving back to their community.” The scholarship is renewable for two years — totaling $5,000 — and is awarded to a minimum of 25 students each year.
Since 1995, the BECU Foundation has given more than $2.6 million in scholarships to more than 1,000 students. An application for the scholarship can be filled out online.
The deadline for applications is 11:50 p.m. PST on Feb. 28.
