If you’re a South Sound company looking to train employees and build a stronger workplace culture, consider applying for Washington’s Job Skills Program Grant (JSP). The state is currently offering $5.4 million for these programs, which is accessible now through an easy application process.
Arranging and facilitating employee training programs is Invista Performance Solutions, a collaboration of four Pierce County colleges that focuses on providing customized solutions to help organizations meet their needs and grow. JSP training programs feed economic growth and employment in the state by supporting areas with new industries, regions impacted by job loss, and people at risk of losing jobs due to economic or technological changes.
Training can be delivered to new or current employees on site at your company or in a local classroom. Most companies are eligible save government and municipal agencies and nonprofits that are not hospitals licensed by the Department of Social Services.
Apply by Aug. 30 to be considered for funded employee-focused training programs beginning as early as Oct. 1. Contact Invista Performance Solutions at email@example.com to get started on the application process, and visit invistaperforms.org for more information about the grant.
