PaintCare, a nonprofit focused on paint stewardship across the country, is bringing its paint recycling programs to Washington April 1.
More than 200 drop-off sites will be launched, some within paint stores and others locally managed government facilities. Leftover paint, stain, and varnish from households and businesses will be accepted.
Within the first year, PaintCare is projected to divert over 1 million gallons of paint from the state’s waste stream and the environment.
More information about the program can be found on PaintCare’s page for the state of Washington here.
